Universitas Padjadjaran won an award as a learning support partner for Bank Indonesia. The award announcement was made at the “Learning Program Appreciation Forum and Launching of the Journal of Central Banking Law and Institutions (JCLI)” event, which was held virtually by the BI Institute Monday (31\/1\/2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, Unpad received appreciation as a champion university for two categories: the development of the Central Banking course and support for the Merdeka Campus program at Bank Indonesia. The Governor of Bank Indonesia, Perry Warjiyo, witnessed the mention of the award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our appreciation goes to all parties who have made a huge contribution to Bank Indonesia,” said Perry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BI Institute Head Yoga Affandi said the Learning Program Appreciation Forum was an activity held to express appreciation for the support from the Board of Governors of Bank Indonesia, BI work units, and partner institutions that have supported learning programs at the BI Institute in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He explained, in 2021, the Covid-19 pandemic prompted the BI Institute to accelerate digital learning transformation. Development of learning designs, learning tools, and methods continues to be carried out with the support of internal and external learning partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, with the support of partners, the BI Institute has succeeded in compiling various learning modules and programs that answer the needs of HR capabilities in the digital era. Some of these include developing Central Banking courses with multiple universities in Indonesia, implementing the Independent Campus program at Bank Indonesia (KMBI) with partner universities, and strengthening domestic research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“All of these achievements could not be separated from the support, collaboration, and inclusive synergy with many parties, one of which is the university,” said Yoga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Perry explained Bank Indonesia had implemented a culture of continuous learning. This work culture movement continues to be improved and becomes the basis for building civilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this work culture, learning activities at the central bank do not only focus on theoretical aspects but are strengthened by discussion activities. This work culture is built from inspiration and knowledge conveyed by teachers internally and externally through the BI Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perry continues this work culture and is also in line with implementing the Independent Learning Campus policy. For this reason, he appreciates the partner universities who work together in holding the KMBI programs has been running since the MBKM program was first launched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the event, Unpad was represented by the Head of the Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation, Anne Nurbaity, Ph.D., and the Head of the Center for Career Development, Dr. Rosaria Mita Amalia, M.Hum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rosaria, who is familiarly called Amel, said that the KMBI activities were carried out as student apprenticeships until now; the internship program for the KMBI program has been held in three waves, namely in the odd semester of the 2020\/2021 academic year, the odd semester of the 2021\/2022 academic year, and the even semester of the 2021\/2022 academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In general, the implementation of the KMBI is held for one semester. There are three programs that the participants take part in, namely the learning stage, project\/research, and work experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the learning stage, students are given three modules with mandatory modules for central banking and digital economy courses. At the project stage, students are encouraged to carry out projects or research determined by the Work Unit according to the chosen field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While in the work stage, students will participate in Bank Indonesia internships. Students will learn how to work at a central bank and understand the work culture from mentors.*<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
