The Library and Information Science Study Program accepts new students through three predetermined pathways, National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP), National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT), and Entrance Selection to Universitas Padjadjaran (SMUP).
Acceptance Line
The new student admission pathway for the Library and Information Science Study Program, Fikom Unpad, is through:
A. SNBP

- Selection will focus on awarding high recognition for successful all-around learning in secondary education.
- Giving a minimum weight of 50 percent for the average value of report cards for all subjects, and 50 percent is taken from the interest and talent digging component.
- Quota: maximum 20%.
B. SNBT

- Based on the UTBK results, only the scholastic test measures four things: cognitive potential, mathematical reasoning, literacy in Indonesian, literacy in English, and other criteria (which are determined jointly by PTN).
- Quota: maximum 40%.
C. Independent (SMUP Unpad)
- The admission route for prospective students is through selection using the 2023 SNBT/UTBK score or the SMUP score (for students graduating in 2021, 2022, and 2023).
- The material for the SMUP exam is in the form of a Learning Ability Test (TKB) equivalent to the SNBT exam.
- The SMUP Undergraduate Examination will be held online and can be taken from each participant’s home on July 8-10, 2023.
- Quota: maximum 40%.
