VISION:

“Become a center of education and knowledge in the field of Information Science inclusive, sustainable, and world-class, to pioneer Information Innovation have a real impact on society by 2030.”

MISSION:

  1. Organizing an inclusive and world-quality Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Library and Information Science Education to produce graduates who are competent, with character, and adaptive to smart technology.
  2. Develop leading research in the field of information governance and digital assets that drive global innovation and contribute to the improvement of international academic citation.
  3. Carrying out research-based community service that is able to provide concrete solutions for information needs and community empowerment in the digital era.
  4. Build an ecosystem of strategic collaboration with global stakeholders and industry to drive downstream innovation and study program independence.

OBJECTIVES:

  1. To produce graduates who have profiles as librarians, digital asset managers and infopreuneurs who are able to compete at the international level (supporting Unpad’s global competitiveness targets).
  2. Produce high-quality scientific papers published in reputable international journals to improve the academic reputation of the faculty and University.
  3. Realizing data-based, transparent, and accountable study program governance to maintain superior accreditation and international recognition
  4. Improving the social impact of study programs through literacy and information inclusion programs that are sustainable for the community.
