Program Learning Outcomes

The Library and Information Science Study Program refers to qualification levels of KKNI, SN-Dikti, SKKNI Number kep. 42./MEN/II/2009, Association of Higher Education Providers in Library and Information Science (APTIPI), Indonesian Librarian Association (IPI), which covers aspects of attitude, knowledge, general skills and special skills.

ATTITUDE
1Demonstrating religious attitudes and behaviors that contribute to improving the quality of life in the community, thinking creatively and innovatively, and possessing character, morals, ethics, and professionalism (PLO 1).
KNOWLEDGE
1Mastering theories, concepts, and methods in the field of library and information science to solve problems at the national, regional, and international levels (PLO 2).
2Mastering the principles and techniques of planning, collecting, processing, packaging, preserving, and disseminating information as memory, assets, and commodities (PLO 3).
GENERAL SKILL
1Able to think logically, critically, systematically, and innovatively; work independently; make decisions based on the analysis of information and data; collaborate and work in groups; take responsibility for the results of group work; manage learning independently (PLO 4)
SPECIAL SKILL
1Able to apply theories, concepts, and methods in managing library collections and digital assets with standard systems and technologies professionally (PLO 5).
2Able to design information institutions in accordance with the needs of institutions and communities based on information and communication technology using a variety of relevant methods (PLO 6).
3Able to develop a network of memory institutions (libraries, archives, museums, and other information institutions) nationally, regionally, and internationally in the management of collective memory and cultural heritage (PLO 7).
4Able to apply various scientific approaches to solve problems in the field of libraries and information science (PLO 8).
5Able to identify information product and service needs, design, organize, and evaluate digital technology-based information businesses (PLO 9).
