Bandung, 2024 – The Library and Information Science Program, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran, organized a socialization program for archivists within the faculty. The session was led by Dr. Rd. Hj. Funny Mustikasari Elita, M.Si.
This initiative aimed to prepare supporting archival documents for the Integrity Zone program, particularly in pursuing the Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) status at Fikom Unpad. By ensuring well-organized, systematic, and accountable archival management, the program seeks to provide comprehensive and transparent documentation in compliance with institutional standards.
During the event, Dr. Rd. Hj. Funny Mustikasari Elita, M.Si. emphasized the crucial role of archivists in maintaining institutional accountability. Archives, she explained, are not merely administrative records but also essential instruments for achieving clean, effective, and integrity-driven governance in higher education.
The socialization program serves as a concrete step by the Library and Information Science Program to foster a culture of integrity within the Faculty of Communication Sciences. It also strengthens collaboration among work units to ensure all Integrity Zone requirements are fulfilled optimally.
This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), which emphasizes transparent and accountable governance, and SDG 4 (Quality Education), which promotes quality education supported by effective institutional management.
Through the enhancement of archivists’ capacity, Fikom Unpad is optimistic about achieving Corruption-Free Zone recognition. This effort also reaffirms Universitas Padjadjaran’s commitment to strengthening transparency, accountability, and institutional competitiveness in support of Indonesia’s vision for a Golden Era 2045.
