Event Overview
The Library and Information Science Program of the Faculty of Communication Sciences at Universitas Padjadjaran held the “Preparation for the Odd Semester 2024/2025” event on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 1:00 PM WIB. The event took place online via Zoom Meeting and aimed to prepare students for the upcoming semester.
Dr. Ute Lies Siti Khadijah, S.Sos., M.Si., the Head of the Library and Information Science Program, served as the speaker. The event was attended by students from the 2021, 2022, and 2023 cohorts.
Dr. Ute organized this event to provide practical guidance and essential information to students. The goal was to help them prepare well, both academically and non-academically. She also aimed to raise awareness about the importance of time management skills, independence, and effective communication in college life.
Participants felt enthusiastic and spirited during the event. Dr. Ute enjoyed interacting directly with the students and contributing positively to their preparation for the new semester.
Dr. Ute emphasized that students should focus not only on academics but also on their personal and social well-being. She stressed the importance of maintaining a balance between studies and personal life.
Hopes and Expectations
Dr. Ute and the Study Program hope that students can understand and implement the tips and guidelines provided during the event. This will help them face the new semester with more confidence and readiness. Additionally, they hope this event can build a strong support network between students, lecturers, and the faculty.
With the “Preparation for the Odd Semester 2024/2025” event, Universitas Padjadjaran students are expected to be ready to face academic challenges and achieve success in their studies.
