The Information and Library Science Association (Himaka) of Fikom Unpad, Alumni and Profession Department of the Panasea Cabinet, in collaboration with Novo Club by Paragon Corp, organized the “Paragon Campus Visit Universitas Padjadjaran 2024” program on Tuesday (23/7/2024). The event took place at the Postgraduate Auditorium of the Faculty of Communication Sciences and was attended by final-year students and fresh graduates from Universitas Padjadjaran.
The event was hosted by Muhammad Daffa Muzakki and Asti as Masters of Ceremony (MC) and moderated by Herlin Aprilya Fauzianty to ensure the smooth running of the program. Mufti Mukarim Pamungkas, the Chief Organizer of this event, delivered the opening remarks. Additionally, the Advisor of the Student Association of the Library and Information Science Study Program, Mrs. Evi Nursanti Rukmana, M.I.Kom., was present and gave a speech before the main event commenced.
The Paragon Campus Visit Universitas Padjadjaran aimed to introduce and promote the professional world, especially at Paragon Corp, to students and alumni. The event provided information through talk shows and sharing sessions about the company profile, recruitment information, career preparation, and the current Paragon Scholarship Program being offered.
The event featured professional speakers who are experts in their fields, one of whom was Nur Fitri Anggraini S., a Senior HR Officer at PT Paragon Technology and Innovation and a graduate of Psychology from Universitas Padjadjaran. She shared information about Paragon Corp, including knowledge about each directorate within the company, the skills needed, the recruitment process, and tips and tricks for choosing company directorate positions.
Additionally, M. Rizal Pratama, an Area Business Lead at Paragon Corp and a graduate of Food Technology from the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB), provided further insights about PT Paragon Technology and Innovation, such as the company’s focus and objectives, and the differences between consumers, shoppers, and customers. The event ran smoothly and successfully, as evidenced by the high enthusiasm of participants who asked numerous questions during the Question and Answer (QnA) session.
With the Paragon Campus Visit x Himaka Fikom Unpad event, it is hoped that students aspiring to pursue careers at Paragon Corp can understand the recruitment process and the related divisions present.
