Lecturers of PSI FIKOM UNPAD Distribute Social Aid to Non-PNS Staff, Cleaning Services, K3L, and Security Officers

Lecturers from the Library and Information Science (PSI) Program, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran (FIKOM UNPAD), organized a social aid initiative to support non-PNS staff, cleaning service workers, K3L personnel, and security officers within the FIKOM UNPAD environment.

This activity was carried out as a form of social responsibility and appreciation for the vital role of support staff in ensuring the smooth operation of campus life. The aid, in the form of staple goods packages, was distributed directly to the recipients by PSI lecturers in a warm and inclusive atmosphere.

Through this initiative, PSI FIKOM UNPAD emphasizes the importance of solidarity within the campus community, strengthening the values of care and togetherness among lecturers and university support staff. The program not only provides material assistance but also fosters stronger bonds between academic and non-academic members of the faculty.

This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 1 (No Poverty), by contributing to the welfare of vulnerable groups; Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), by recognizing and valuing the role of workers; and Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities), by promoting inclusiveness within the university environment.

By organizing this activity, PSI FIKOM UNPAD hopes to inspire other academic communities to nurture the spirit of sharing and social care, thereby creating a campus environment that excels not only in academics but also in social resilience. (SNA)
