Sumedang – Thursday, September 25, 2025. A lecturer from the Library and Information Science Study Program, Dr. Rd. Hj. Funny Mustikasari Elita, M.Si., delivered material for the Social Inclusion-Based Literacy Development Training at the Library Building within the Sumedang Central Government Complex (PPS), Jl. Prabu Gadjah Agung, Sumedang. This activity was held to support the Social Inclusion-Based Library Transformation program, which aims to strengthen the library’s role as an inclusive and participatory lifelong learning center. The event started at 09:00 AM and continued until its conclusion in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and excitement from the participants.

This training aims to enhance the capacity of librarians and library managers in developing social inclusion-based services, encouraging active community involvement in literacy activities relevant to local needs, and establishing the library as a safe, open, and empowering space for all segments of society.

The event featured three main speakers. Dr. Hj. Rd Funny Mustikasari Elita, an academic and Digital Literacy practitioner in Business Communication, is widely known for her dynamic and communicative approach to delivering material. With an interactive and inspiring presentation style, Dr. Funny successfully motivated participants to innovate and collaborate in developing inclusive literacy. The other speakers were Hari Tri Santosa, AP MM, Head of the Archive and Library Office of Sumedang Regency, and Dra. Hj. Ika Candrawulan, an Advanced Expert Librarian who works at the Regional Library and Archival Service (Dispusipda) of West Java Province.
