Jatinangor, 7 December 2022 – Library and Information Science Study Program held a public lecture through the Zoom Meeting platform from 09.30 – 10.45. Presenting by Shamila Mohamed Shuhidan, Ph.D. as a speaker who explained Data Literacy. She is an Associate Professor at the School of Information Science, College of Computing, Informatics and Media, University of Technology MARA, Malaysia.
Exciting and valuable topics are discussed so students can expand their knowledge related to Data Literacy. According to one of the participants, Jihan Alfianti Anjani (2022), “By attending Public Lecture, we can widen our knowledge about data and information which could be used as additional material for the Information Organization class.”
This event was moderated by Dr. Elnovani Lusiana and attended by 290 participants from Library and Information Science Students. Participant enthusiasm had seen by many students who asked questions during the question-and-answer session. One of them are Reginawati Silalahi (2022) and Ramadhan Miftah Fauzi (2020).
