She added that she hoped that the collaboration would impact the development of the SMKN 1 Ciamis library. In line with that, the Head of Himaka Fikom Unpad said that the visit of the Senior Librarian of SMKN 1 Ciamis was aimed at establishing friendship and discussing possible collaborations that both parties could carry out.

The collaboration that is expected to be carried out: information literacy activities in schools, the availability of internship and research opportunities for Library and Information Science Study Program students at the SMKN 1 Ciamis Library., and writing skill training from the Library and Information Science Study Program for members of the Pustakawan Remaja of SMKN 1 Ciamis.
Pustakawan Remaja is an extracurricular that accommodates student development activities in information literacy. Mrs. Sri Maryati Rahayu, S.IIP., explained two activity units within the Pustakawan Remaja: the Book Writing Unit and the Media Writing Unit. The Book Writing Unit is for students who want to develop their potential to write books, and Media Writing Unit is for students who are directed to write news about school activities. The Pustakawan Remaja has two work programs: the Ciamis Community Literacy Movement and Writing Training book. Developing students’ potential is a positive activity promising to continue developing. Hopefully, the existing collaboration can become a medium to increase students’ writing potential and benefit both parties.
