Bandung, November 19, 2024 – Raihan Rahmadiyan Aviana, a student in the Library and Information Science Program, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad), officially earned his bachelor’s degree during the First Graduation Ceremony for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. Raihan, known as a student with special needs and a high passion for learning, has proven that inclusive support and perseverance can lead to extraordinary achievements.
During his thesis defense on August 9, 2024, Raihan presented an innovative project titled “The Role of Narrators in the Video Tutorial ‘Utilizing Public Services of the West Java Provincial Library and Archives Agency’.” The project included the creation of a tutorial video in which Raihan played a dual role as both actor and narrator. The video was designed to help the public better understand and utilize library services through engaging and informative guidance.
Raihan’s success has garnered appreciation from various parties, including Dr. Ute Lies Siti Khadijah, S.Sos., M.Si., who previously served as the Head of the Library and Information Science Program and is now the Head of the Library Management Office at Universitas Padjadjaran. “Raihan has demonstrated that strong determination and dedication can overcome various challenges. His work is not only innovative but also provides tangible benefits to society. I am incredibly proud of his achievement,” she said.
Raihan hopes that his academic journey will inspire other students, particularly those facing similar challenges, to continue creating and contributing. “I hope my work benefits society and motivates my peers to keep pursuing their goals without giving up,” Raihan expressed.
