Fikom Library and Information Science Study Program, Unpad, conducted a socialization of research for Library and Information Science Study Program Lecturers on Wednesday (15/05/2024). The event was held in the Auditorium Room of the Postgraduate Building, Fikom, Unpad, and was attended by Lecturers and Students of the Library and Information Science Study Program Class of 2022.
Through this socialization, the Library and Information Science Study Program accommodates student interest in research by opening opportunities for students to join research that is being and will be carried out by Lecturers of the Library and Information Science Study Program. The lecturers, namely, Dr. Agus Rusmana, Dr. Yunus Winoto, Dr. Ute Lies Siti Khadijah, Dr. Rully Khairul Anwar, Dr. Saleha Rodiah, and Dr. Elnovani Lusiana, guided by Mrs. Fitri Perdana, M.I.Kom as the moderator conveyed the field of expertise, research roadmap, research description, and the number of students who could join.
There are seven research topics that students can choose from as follows.
Students who are in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year and are willing to continue the lecturer’s research topic that they have chosen as their thesis topic are welcome to register. In addition to experience in conducting research, students who join also get research assistance funds for the research topics they study.
Students who have registered through the registration link will then be contacted by the Library and Information Science Study Program to meet with the Lecturer who is the Chief Researcher and discuss the research activities to be carried out.
