Library and Information Science Study Program carried out a selection of outstanding students on Tuesday (05/03/2024) in the Library and Information Science Study Room. Nadia Nila Farodisa, Muhammad Nabiel Farabi, and Delfin Gusti Wanda were participants in this selection. Four judges assessed each participant: Dr. Elnovani Lusiana, Dr. Saleha Rodiah, Fitri Perdana, M.I.Kom, and Evi Nursanti Rukmana, M.I.Kom.
There are several stages in this selection. First, students write an essay and send it with their Curriculum Vitae (CV). Then, students’ essays and presentations are assessed. Several aspects be components of the assessment: (1) CV and Portfolio of Excellent Achievements (2) Creative Idea Manuscript in the form of an essay in English with the theme Sustainable Development Goals and Industrial Revolution 4.0 (3) English Language Skills and (4) Soft Skills, including abilities critical thinking, cooperation, communication skills, creativity, initiative, self-confidence, leadership, concern for other participants, and communication through programmed and structured activities. Finally, the jury will carry out an assessment and determine which participants will be the outstanding students at the study program level.
Outstanding students at the study program level will continue the selection of outstanding students at the faculty level. For selected participants, hopefully, they can bring a good name to the study program and can develop their potential and achievements to a higher level.
