Comparative study HMPSI Fikom Unpad and Hima-EP Feb Unisba

Jatinangor—Saturday, May 10, 2025. The Library and Information Science Student Association (HMPSI) of the Faculty of Communication Sciences (Fikom) at Unpad held a Comparative Study with the Development Economics Student Association (HIMA-EP) of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Unisba, in the Moestopo Room at Fikom, Unpad. The event, themed “Harnessing Synergy for Progress,” was attended by 90 participants from both HMPSI and Hima-EP.

The event began with an opening prayer led by the MC, followed by speeches from the Chairs of HMPSI Fikom Unpad and Hima-EP FEB Unisba, as well as the respective PICs from each association. The program continued with a presentation on the organizational structure, introductions to departmental bureaus, and the work programs of each association, delivered by the Chairs of HMPSI and Hima-EP. Afterward, participants engaged in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) at the Plaza area of Fikom, Unpad.

Participants then returned to their seats with their respective FGD groups for the next session: games. Group 1, consisting of HMPSI Pimkab members, Hima-EP Top Management, and HMPSI Secretarial and Financial Bureaus, emerged as the winner of the first game, a word-guessing game. The second game, a Treasure Hunt, was won by Group 4, which included members from HMPSI’s Media and Information Bureau and Hima-EP’s Multimedia division. Additionally, several nominations were announced: the Best Group was awarded to the HMPSI Creative Economy Department x Hima-EP Entrepreneurship Division, the HMPSI Best Participant was Iwan Ridwan Ramdani from the Internal Relations Department, and the Hima-EP Best Participant was Refiansyah from the Research and Scientific Studies Division (BPKK). After the games, participants were invited to share their messages and impressions through a QR code.

Before concluding the event, both student associations held a joint documentation session led by the Media and Information Bureau in the Moestopo Room at Fikom, Unpad. This documentation session served as the final segment of the event.
