Jatinangor-Saturday, March 15, 2025. The Library and Information Science Student Association (HMPSI) began a new chapter in 2025 by holding its Inaugural Annual Meeting. The event took place at the Moestopo Hall on the 3rd floor of Building 4 at the Faculty of Communication Science. It was attended by 104 association members and the two HMPSI advisors, Fitri Perdana, M.I.Kom., and Prijana, M.Si.
The meeting began with an opening by the MC, Muhamad Fakhri Hakim. This was followed by a welcome speech from the Project Officer for the 2025 meeting, Lina Tsamoratul, and HMPSI advisor Fitri Perdana, M.I.Kom. In his address, Fitri Perdana, S.Sos., M.I.Kom., expressed his hope that this inaugural annual meeting would be a new beginning for the association, following the name change from Himaka to HMPSI. He hoped that this year would be a good and smooth one for HMPSI.

This year’s Inaugural Annual Meeting was led by three presidium members: Alya Amalia, Ilaya Amala Akbar, and Dini Salma Hafizhah. The main agenda for the 2025 meeting included the inauguration and a presentation of the work programs from each commission, bureau, and department of both the BPA and BPH. This was intended to provide a clear and measurable overview that could serve as a parameter for executing the work programs over the next year. The presentation of work programs began with the BPA Parlemen Pasakarsa, followed by a presentation from the BPH Kabinet Trinada, and concluded with a Q&A or response session.
After completing the series of events for the Inaugural Annual Meeting, the core management team, members, and staff were officially inaugurated and will serve for one year, carrying out their duties. This 2025 Inaugural Annual Meeting serves as an opening for the BPA Parlemen Pasakarsa and the BPH Kabinet Trinada of HMPSI to carry out their mandate for the year ahead.
