The Library and Information Science Study Program became the major with the most student growth at Unpad based on RevoU’s assessment regarding the increase in the number of students in Indonesia during Covid-19 in early March 2023. This growth also became the second-largest addition of students throughout Indonesia, with a total increase of 242 students.
Retrieved from Unpad.ac.id (2023), the Library and Information Science Study Program has grown by 80%, from 303 students in 2020 to 545 in 2021. These results were obtained by comparing data on the number of students, types of study programs, and a summary of education from the top ten best universities in Indonesia based on the 2023 QS World University Rankings. Data retrieved from the Ministry of Education and Culture for 2019-2021 and the latest data on November 18, 2022, with undergraduate (S1) and master (S2) education levels.
In addition, there are four study programs with the highest student growth at Unpad other than the Library and Information Science Study Program, that is Digital Business Study Program,
Business Administration, Fisheries (Pangandaran Campus), and Actuarial Science. (TN)
