PENMA or Persiapan Kampus Merdeka is one of the work programs of the Department of Alumni and Professions which is tasked with increasing students’ understanding of the world of internships and jobs. In organizing this year’s PENMA, it aims to provide new insights to students of batches 2023 and 2022 regarding Merdeka Campus programs, including the MSIB (Internship and Certified Independent Study) program and the Teaching Campus program which are presented directly by students who have participated in the program.

There were three people who became resource persons at PENMA this year. First, Rifat Syafaat, a 2021 Library and Information Science student who is currently implementing the MSIB program at the DPR-RI. Rifat explained what he did during his internship at the DPR-RI and gave some tips for passing the MSIB program, especially to the DPR-RI.
Then, Tita Nursari, a 2019 Library and Information Science student who explained about the Teaching Campus or Student Teaching program held by Padjadjaran University. Tita shared her experience starting from registration, activities and tasks, and at the end gave tips & tricks related to the Teaching Campus program.
Finally, Masita Dewi Cahyani, a 2021 Library and Information Science student who is implementing the Certified Independent Study program at Bangkit Academy. Masita, who took the special-path in Cloud Computing, shared her experience of asynchronous self-study, working on learning modules, and consulting with mentors. At the end of the learning, Masita explained that the participants will implement the materials that have been given through team projects to solve common problems around them.
By holding PENMA, which presents speakers who have experienced the MSIB and Teaching Campus programs firsthand, it is hoped that it can provide new insights to all students about the Kampus Merdeka program and can be a reference in determining the internship activities they want to undertake.
